Memory Park, located on the corner of Woodriff Street and High Street, Penrith, was opened in July 1922 as a tribute to the soldiers who fought in World War one. The park used to house a rotunda, seven honour tablets and two large trophy guns. The rotunda was demolished in 1972 and the guns where removed when the park was redesigned.
