This postcard show the junction of the Western Road and Evan Street, looking west towards the Blue Mountains. The new Methodist manse can be seen on the left of the Western Road with the Commercial Hotel opposite, The open ground on the south-western corner of the Western Road and Evan Street would later become the site of the Penrith Fire Station. A sepia version of this postcard is also available within this collection.
