The Poplars property was located one kilometere from the corner of Farrell's Lane and Cranebrook Road, Cranebrook. It was owned by Bob Salmond, seen here on the right with his son Andrew. The land was originally granted to Rosetta Marsh. She named the grant Islington. The property is now in the Penrith Lakes complex.
