Lewers Bequest and Penrith Regional Art Gallery, River Road, Emu Plains. This complex includes two houses - one an early twentieth century farmhouse, the other, designed by Sydney Ancher in 1960. The property was purchased in the 1940's by artists Margo & Gerald Lewers, who then created the large garden. The gallery was bequeathed to Penrith City Council by Margo & Gerald's daughter. The gallery was opened in 1981. The postcard was published by the Penrith District Tourist Association.
