John Proctor died on 1 June 1842. He was a yeoman. The NSW and Port Phillip Directory of 1839 lists John Proctor as Chief Constable of Penrith. Police records show that John Proctor was a keeper of Penrith Pound. It is a semicircular sandstone headstone and footstone with cut away shoulders.
