In his will he appointed his friends Kate Briggs and Mary Alice Shaw to be executors of his estate. He directed his poultry farm to be sold and the proceeds to go to his wife Kate Ann Rooke. His brother's children: Evans Rooke, Charlotte rooke and Bouchier Rooke were also beneficiaries. Property details: Lot Cor 65-67 DP 2196 35 acres, between Batt Street, York Road and Maxwell Streets. Includes a schedule and valuation of household furniture. Will was witnessed by W J Field bank manager and J A E Jannery bank officer.
