Henry Stanley Holliday and Constance Neale

Constance Neale married Henry Alston Stanley Holliday, 3 April 1917 at Penrith. Stanley, as he was known, had served with 56th Battalion between 2 July 1915 and 16 October 1916. Constance enlisted as a Staff Nurse with the Australian Army Nursing Service on 31 July 1915 and was allocated to No 1 Australian General Hospital Reinforcements. She served in Egypt and England. Constance Margaret Neale died on 17 May 1972, and is buried with her husband and son in Macquarie Park Cemetery in Ryde. This photograph is thought to have been taken on their wedding day.
