Factory staff, W E Cuckson and Son, Windsor Road, St Marys

Eric and Marie Cuckson had immigrated with their son and daughter to Australia in 1949 arriving in Sydney in the December. He was the founder of the Cuckson's factory at St. Marys which made zippers and tape. He created a working environment in which employees would experience free cooperation, enthusiasm and interest in their work. Eric cann be seen second from the left with his wife Marie at the front (in trousers).
