Venita Pearson (seated) was born in 1894 to Eli and Agnes Broad. Eli's parents Henry and Eliza Broad had a boarding house in Henry Street called Amelia Palace. They then built Broadville in Station Street where Venita would be born. Venita died in 1985. She is pictured here with Edna Mason.
