1960s
Archives
Dungarth was originally the home of the Superintendent of the Emu Plains Agricultural Farm, built in 1820. The house has been altered many times over the subsequent years. It was demolished in the 1970s to make way for the Lennox Shopping Centre. It once stood in Stockade Street and was surrounded by orchards.
