Mulgoa residents indulged in a little bit of fun on Boxing Day with a day of sports, followed by a concert and dance in the Mulgoa Hall at night. The sporting event assisted the funds of the R C Church and Hall piano. Events included a Wheelbarrow Race, a Quoit Match, a Sack Race, Tilting the Ring and Throwing at Wicket. Names of winners and donors of prizes given. The evening's entertainment took the shape of variety entertainment by the Mulgoa Minstrels, assisted by one or two Sydney gentlemen.
