An obituary for William Wellesley Lennox, the son of William and Elizabeth Lennox, born in Penrith 81 years ago. After leaving school, young William joined his father in his produce business. On 21 June 1911, William married Miss Ruth Walker of Emu Plains. During WW1 Mr Lennox was an instructor, sent to various camps in NSW. After the War they went to live at Parkes, then later Chatswood, and later to West Ryde where he passed away on 17 December. Left to mourn his loss are his wife and five children - Wellesley (New Zealand), Mary (Mrs Robert Willetts), Ruth (Mrs Agar Scarr), Leona (Mrs Powell), and Frank (Eden). A sister Mrs Edith Lennox, lives at High Street, Penrith, and two brothers Cecil and Frank, survive their brother.
