A Local Carrier Starts. As stated last week a local man has commenced with his teams to compete with the Railway Commissioners. Mr J Farrell has entered into an agreement with Mr James Quinn of Jamisontown. The agreement will last for six months, and the contractor will receive the same rate per ton as was previously paid to the Railway Commissionioners, in addition to the cost of cartage.
