Royal Hotel, Penrith. The first sixpenny bar opened. A great acquisition. Katoomba and Medlow are now included in the Police District of Penrith. Auction sale at Mrs Drummond's Station Street this afternoon. The Nepean District well spoken of as an irrigation centre by Water Conservation commission. Mr George Horton appointed Inspector of Nuisances and Inspector of Dairies for the Municipality of Penrith. The valuers have started preparing a list of ratepayers for Penrith. Persons having recently purchased or disposed of property are requested to send particulars to Colless and Worboys. Ald Paskin greatly disappointed at being left off the Works Committee. He had intended standing as Mayor only that he had promised the ratepayers so much while connected with the Works Committee. To leave him out of the Works was altogether too cruel.
