A R Buckland is in receipt of a letter from Port Germein (South Australia), announcing the death of Dr J W Nichols, M D, who left Penrith a little over two years ago on a trip to Monte Video. It appears the Dr returned to South Australia and started a practice in Port Germein, where he had been very successful and was highly respected. Dr Nichols was assistant to Dr Shand for some time.
