Opening a new street - or continuation of an old one - Woodriff Street to Belmore Street - formally opened by the Mayor, Alderman A Judges on Tuesday. Alderman Fulton made a presentation to the Mayor for his services in connection with the new street. The land was purchased from Mr T Smith, and was previously inaccessible. The Mayor paid Mr Huxley a sompliment for his exertions in the matter.
