A slew of variations to Penrith City Councils budget have caused a small estimated deficit of almost $172,000 - In a review of councils performance in the December quarter, councils chief financial officer, Barry Husking, estimated that variations to the budget exceeding $2.8 million would take the expenditure for the financial year to $125,590,400, almost $172,000 more than the estimated income.
