Here, for the first time on DVD, is the Leyland Brothers' historic West-East crossing of Australia in 1966 - from Steep Point in WA to Cape Byron in NS W - along with the recent retracing of the epic journey by Mal Leyland and his entourage. In the latter program, Mal discusses the contrast between the first and second expeditions, and how new communications and GPS devices have changed the notion of adventure travel.
