From September 1, pubs and clubs will no longer be able to attract punters using 'VIP Lounge' signage as the State Government has moved to close a loophole. When the advertising of poker machines was banned, venues used such signage as a way of advertising to those passing that they have poker machines. The new Labor government is moving to prohibit such signage moving forward.
