Article about registered local charity, The Haven - Nepean Women's Shelter and the work they do with the community. Since opening in 2018, The Haven has provided over 17,000 safe bed nights to the Penrith community and surrounding areas, and has assisted more than 330 women and children. In May of this year the Mayoral Charity Ball with fundraise for The Haven, with every ticket sale including a donation.
