Who: Library members
Cost: $5 set-up fee which includes first hour of printing, plus $2 per additional hour, charged in 15-minute increments.
Design and create your own gifts, toys, art, jewellery or practical objects at Penrith City Library Service with our 3D printing service.
Plant based PLA filament is used in a variety of colours.
3D print procedure:
- Create your files using a free design platform such as Tinkercad, or download a ready-made design on Thingiverse, or Yeggi.
- Complete the application form, submit your print file and form via USB to a Penrith City Library Service branch, or email it to [email protected].
- Your file will be reviewed by staff, who will let you know how much it costs to print before we go ahead.
- After payment has been made, printing will commence.
- Once your model is complete you will be notified via phone or email. You may collect from your preferred branch.
