Ellen Long died on 12 June 1868 aged 27 years. She was a daughter of George and Alice Hope and came from South Creek. It is an ornate sandstone headstone and footstone with a sandstone kerb and a high fence of cast and wrought iron surrounding the grave. The headstone detailed in photograp C21B sits next to this one in the same enclosure.
