This creek was used for irrigating the Camelot Piggery which was located on Castlereagh Road, opposite the Millk factory and close to the railway line. The piggery or stud was also known as Shirley's Piggery, which bred Canadian Berkshire pigs and was owned by Graham Shirley. The property covered over 40 acres and included four residences. The area is now part of the Peachtree industrial area.
