Bill Hixon has been America's Top Metropolitan Police Chief three years running. Looking for a new posting, a new challenge, he settled on Boston. But not that Boston. Bill arrives in England with his 14 year-old daughter Kelsey in tow, hoping for a fresh start. Headhunted for his numbers-driven approach, Bill is tasked with tackling East Lincolnshire's league-topping crime figures. But he's about to discover what being a copper is all about as this unfamiliar, unimpressed community forces him to question everything about himself, leaving him asking whether it's Boston that needs Bill, or Bill that needs Boston.
