In the Night Garden is about a magical picture-book place that exists between waking and sleeping in a child’s imagination. Words, rhymes and music carry the viewer through a happy world of loveable characters and nursery rhyme nonsense. The Pinky Ponk is a sort-of airship in which many of the toys in the garden can travel. A trip on the Pinky Ponk is quite different from a trip on the Ninky Nonk. Rather than careening through the garden, the Pinky Ponk gently rises above it, and eases forward effortlessly and gracefully (most of the time at least!)
