At a ceremony in Tamworth Mrs Duff was voted a life member of the Benevolent Society in aid of the contemplated Cottage Homes. It will be remembered that Mrs Duff is the wife of A Duff (District Superintendent of Railway, one time stationed at Penrith) and a daughter of Thomas Smith.
