The election of mayor for the Castlereagh Municipality took place at the Council Chambers, Castlereagh, on Thursday night of last week. Present were Alderman Hough (retiring mayor), Smith, Clemson, Devlin and Mills. Alderman Hough, as the only nominee, was duly elected.
