Firefighters weren't the only ones to sacrifice their Christmas-New Year holidays to help save lives when they were joined by hundred of volunteers around the state who acted as their personal angels in time of need - The volunteers served as a major supply point for firefighters in and around Penrith and the Blue Mountains - From Boxing Day, Regentville Hall was a hive of activity for a core group of about 20-30 locals who sent food, water and medical supplies wherever needed - Photo.
