Penrith council has accepted an offer of a $1.5 million loan from Westpac. Council's acceptance of the loan completes its borrowing program for 1984-85. Most of the money - $750,000 - will be spent on sewerage works. The rest will be spent on public works ($250,000) and land acquisitions ($500,000).
