Mr Dwyer, acting accountant for Bank of NSW has been transferred to Burwood. Mr S Devlin is his successor. A half mile race between A Easterbrook's Blinkboy and A Morehead's Forsaken was won by Morehead's mare. Easterbrook protested. Professor Threlfall and Mr Norman Selfe arrived in Penrith without warning to test the electric light plant. They appeared perfectly satisfied. Aderman Judges and O'Connell were present but did not make themselves known.
