An investigation is underway into the viability of a new berthing facility on the Nepean River's western banks, adjacent to the Lewers Gallery - Penrith Council and the State Land and Water Conservation Department are to jointly fund a $50,000 study to look at the feasibility of the berth, which would give boats direct access to the water from River Rd.
