From our correspondent. The success of the local War Chest group is congratulated, whilst another organisation, the soldiers comforts movement has just begun. St Pauls Church will be holding a concert on Saturday 24th November. Rain has fallen lately which has encouraged the pumpkin beetle to destroy local crops.The annual church fete will be held on New Years Day, 1918.
