While other former Sydney Olympic venues have been struggling for patronage over the past tow years, Penrith's Whitewater Stadium has managed to turn a profit - The Stadium's annual report for 2001-2002 was presented to Penrith City Council's Policy Review meeting this week - It showed an accumulated profit of $143,036 for the period, its first complete year as a public recreation facility, compared with $209,274 in the previous year.
