Technical paper 6 provides an overview of the existing planning framework and land uses in the vicinity of Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) and assesses the potential impact to existing and future land use that may occur during operation of the project. The purpose of Technical paper 7 is to identify and assess the potential impacts of the project in relation to landscape character and visual impacts. It responds directly to the Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) guidelines and has been prepared with consideration of relevant legislation and guidance for environmental impact assessment, including matters of landscape and visual value. Technical paper 8 addresses the remaining biodiversity matters not covered by Technical papers 4 and 5.
