This report reviews rural and urban capability mapping of the north-western sector of the Sydney Outer Western Region. The study involved the compilation and upgrading of existing soils and slope gradient data, in order to derive rural and urban capability maps. The study was conducted during November and December 1983. The study area is bounded by Kurragong Heights in the west, Berowra Creek in the east, the Hawkesbury River to the north and Londonderry and Castle Hill in the south.
