Water quality assessment for the proposed Camden Valley development. The subject land is bounded by Remembrance Driveway to the east, Cawdor Road to the south and west and the local government boundary between Wollondilly Council and Camden Council to the north. the total area of the subject land is approximately 550 hectares, some of which is flood prone.Objectives of the report included: to establish the base line water quality in the Nepean River and the catchment for Matahil Creek and other watercourses within the site by reviewing existing data and studies; to estimate the future run-off loadings on the basis of the proposed density for development; to estimate the annual average nutrient loadings from the site for the stormwater for both phosphates and nitrates; establish the criteria necessary to maintain or improve current water quality; and estimate the average annual run-off from the site.
