Cort Keller and his gang of four are on the run after a successful robbery, but a posse led by Marshal Nate Whitman, a dogged tracker known to never give up, and his Crow Indian friend Little Hawk, are closing in on them. Cort goes to the house of his cousin Coy Brandon, ex-outlaw turned family man, for help. But when Coy is gunned down, and the Keller gang starts to fall apart, Cort is forced to reconsider his way of life if he is to survive.
