Margaret Jenkins has provided a detailed history of the Wesleyan Church which became the Emu Plains Uniting Church through paper cuttings, photographs, booklets and old documents. Acknowledgement to Pastor Cherie Strudwick, Reverend Russell Davies and Greg Davies. This church building was built in 1863 and celebrated 150th anniversary in 2013. This publication lists the ministers who served from 1860 to 1920. The original trustees in 1863 were: William Lucas Jnr, Robert Stuart, George Colless, Arthur Jenkins, George Walker Snr, Richard Mullis, George Lane, Joseph Stanton, Henry Marchant and Richard Sellars.
