Sydney metro - Western Sydney Airport (the project) is identified in the Greater Sydney Region Plan as a key element to delivering an integrated transport system for the Western Parkland City. This project would provide a connection between the existing Sydney Trains suburban rail network at St Marys and six new metro stations, including two at Western Sydney International and one at the Aerotropolis. Also included is an Aboriginal community consultation as per the requirements of Heritage NSW's Aboriginal Cultural heritage Consultation Requirements for Proponents (DECCW, 2010a).
