There is also a section describing insects introduced to Australia to control noxious waterplants. Freshwater animals known to cause damage to irrigation works have also been included. Separate chapters on biological control and eutrophication have been added to complement the section on aquatic plant management. The plants described and photographed here include both common and potentially troublesome species in New South Wales.
