This plan has been conducted on a sub-catchment level as this allows for greater attention to detail. The plan is based on a detailed field audit of the drainage systsems within the catchment. The field audit has made it possible to address locally based issues at their source. The sub-catchment extends from the foot of the Blue Mountains through to the Nepean River, and encompasses the suburbs of Emu Heights, Emu Plains and Leonay.
