As part of the redevelopment of the Australian Defence Industries site at St Marys, demolition works have been undertaken. In line wit the waste avoidance and Resource Revovery Act (2001), all the brickwork and concrete associated with the demolition and excavation work is stored on site so that it can be reused later. This facility will be constructed to crush and screen the demolition materials and it is intended that the crushed product will be reused on the St Marys project site for uses such as fill and roadbase.
