Artfiles Information + Cultural Exchange is a professional development program for artists and arts professionals in Western Sydney. Greater Western Sydney includes the following council areas: Auburn, Bankstown, Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, The Hills, Holroyd, Liverpool, Parramatta, Penrith, and Wollondilly. Artists and arts professionals who live, work, study or have a connection (such as Indigenous ancestry) to Western Sydney can access Artfiles' professional development initiatives. Artfiles has an ongoing campaign to profile Western Sydney artists to the media, with the aim of increasing their exposure and recognition. Artfiles connects artists and arts professionals with each other and potential employers. Many people use Artfiles to locate artists, arts professionals and groups and to find out about events. Artfiles also offers professional development seminars and support for artists and arts professionals from time to time. Artfiles can assist you in locating artists, arts professionals, trainers, facilitators, teachers and artists for employment or participation in events. You can use the 'quick search' window at the top right of every Artfiles webpage to search using particluar words. For a more incisive search you can use the advanced button beside 'quick search' to search profiles by artform, location, or even language group.
