June 15, 1944. U.S. forces storm the island of Saipan, gaining control of a strategic location to launch a direct attack on Japan. July 7th, 1944, the Japanese Army launch a final, suicidal charge to re-take the island. Lt. Vic Webber is a front-line surgeon stationed on the Island of Saipan during WW2. But when Japanese forces surge over the American front lines, he must take up arms and join the fight to save the wounded warriors under his care. Outgunned, low on ammunition and surrounded by the enemy, Webber must protect his hospital, his staff and his patients against a brutal attack until help arrives.
