Planning document covering the isolated settlements along Berowra Creek up to its confluence with the Hawkesbury River. Development within the settlements have 'happened' rather than having been planned, so this document addresses the pressures for change from both residential and recreational development and recognises the sensitivity of the environment. Matters discussed include the existing zoning and land use provisions; the natural, residential, aquatic and visual environments; heritage, tourism and recreation resources; open space needs; community issues and services; and the examination of site specific areas.
