When a bridegroom accidentally kills someone at his wedding, he escapes to Texas to avoid the authorities and wait for his bride, a beautiful Southern belle. At the border he meets a gunrunner and his Indian sidekick. In a barrage of slapstick humor, the mis-matched travelers and lovers battle Indians, settlers, and each other.
