Sidney Woodward-Smith immigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1920 and from about 1928 his landscape paintings appeared in many important Sydney exhibitions. His work drew many of the leading art critics. The author is Dr William (Bill) Cammack, 30 Mulgoa Road Penrith (later 12 Vista Street Penrith). His home was formerly known as Rodley, but later changed to Mountain Mists by the Cammacks.
