Articles
The Chief Secretary, Mr C A Kelly, last week received a deputation of Nepean district business and local government representatives and sportsmen who had applied for a trotting licence for the Penrith showground. Mr C J Welch, trustee of the Penrith Show Society, headed the deputation. The Penrith showground consists of about 30 acres and the provision of a new grandstand and other facilities for trotting is planned by the society. Londonderry newar Richmond was the nearest licensed trotting track.
