Outcomes from a meeting of the Church Wardens and Parochial Council of St Stephen's Church, Penrith. These included a moonlight concert, a tennis court on the church ground, resumption of the working bees at the cemetery. A vote of thanks was accorded to Rev E Hargrave for his gift of four collection plates for use in the church. Collectors appointed to raise 50 pounds annually towards payment of the Rectory debt, reported that the amounts promised were nearly 100 pounds, instead of the 50 required.
