Mayor Long gave a detailed 'financial statement' of the Council's accounts, at Monday night's meeting, for the half-year just ended, during which he has been in office. The amount collected since 10th February last, was 1417 pounds, 14 shillings and 3 pence, out of which 342 pounds, 11 shillings was utilised for paying off old debts.
